PHILOSOPHY
PRACTICAL AND PATIENT HELP FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO BE SELF-SUFFICIENT AND FOR THOSE WHO DON'T
In some ways, I am an unusual accountant. I graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a degree in writing. I managed a chicken farm in Israel. I am passionate about visual design and color.
I care about teaching my clients as much as they wish to learn about bookkeeping and accounting. In a few cases this posture has worked me out of a job, but I still believe it's the right way to do business. This approach has allowed my clients to be more confident about the financial aspect of their organizations.
I am available by telephone and expect to answer all sorts of questions as they come up - from sophisticated to pedestrian.
I like having a variety of kinds of clients, both for profit and non profit, single owners and larger companies.
The shift that many of my clients are making to the use of online tools is fascinating. Not all the tools work for every client. For some, this shift is simplifying and increasing efficiency. For others, it's saving them money. Of course, some organizations aren't well suited to the online accounting atmosphere, and I am happy to work with them as well.
